David Searns is CEO of Haley Marketing, a content marketing and web design firm that works with more than 900 staffing and search firms throughout the world.

For the past 19 years, David and his team have helped staffing firms to stand out from the competition, get past HR, sell higher margin staffing solutions, improve sales productivity, and nurture relationships with clients and candidates.

Jordan Rayboy began his recruiting career w/ MRI in 2000, while still a sophomore in college. After earning Regional Rookie of the Year & Overall Account Executive of the Year at age 20, he eventually was ranked Top Ten World-Wide by 2005. The following year, Jordan struck out on his own, forming Rayboy Insider Search - the nation's leading search firm in the storage, virtualization, and infrastructure marketplace. He joined the Pinnacle Society in 2009, and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011, eventually serving as Member Education Chair. Jordan surpassed $10M career cash-in during 2015.


John A. Thomas, CSP, CSC, CTS, CPSS, is a 30+ year veteran of the staffing industry. He started his career in the temporary services sector in Kansas City. He has managed offices for two of the largest and successful staffing firms in the US, before returning to Kansas City in 1990 to start up a temporary services division for an executive recruitment company. During this period John established four new offices, turning them all into “profit centers” within one year and maintaining high gross profit for the duration of his tenure. These included start-ups with no capital to startups with unlimited capital!


Bill Chapin's responsibilities include overseeing marketing strategy and implementation, branding, advertising, market research, fan development, community outreach, charitable giving, Season Ticket Fan Loyalty programs and Customer Relationship Management, the Chiefs Art Program, special events, including concerts & college football games, the Chiefs Cheerleaders, Red Coaters, and KC Wolf. In his role, Chapin reports directly to Chiefs President Mark Donovan on all matters of the team's business operations.


Toby Malara, Esq., government affairs counsel, American Staffing Association

Toby handles federal and state legislative issues. He assists association members and state chapters in state lobbying efforts, and provides industry related information to members on laws, legislation and regulation. Prior to joining ASA, Toby was Executive Director of the National Technical Services Association and also served as the association’s general counsel and director of government relations. Before that he served as legislative counsel to Rep. Jack Quinn (R-NY) where he developed policy and recommendations on legislation, wrote speeches and press releases, handled press calls, and constituent relations. Toby received his law degree from Catholic University and holds a B.A. degree from Georgetown University.


Bruce earned his BS degree in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota in 1979 and an MBA degree in General Management from the University of Colorado in 1981. Bruce has been married to his high school sweetheart, Laurie, for 37 years and lives in Overland Park, KS. They have 4 adult children and two grandchildren and have been very active volunteers with their church and coaching youth athletics for 15 years when their children were younger. His first career encompassed 16 1/2 years in the industrial distribution and services industry, with 10 of those years in six different leadership roles for the General Electric Company.

Bruce started his entrepreneurial career in January, 1998, with the founding A-1 STAFFING, an industrial staffing company in the Kansas City area. In December, 2000, a professional staffing division was added which ultimately became A-1 CAREERS. The staffing company grew to 10 locations with numerous on-site clients and was sold to Spartan Staffing in June, 2011 while A-1 CAREERS continues in KC, Denver and Iowa.
