He is recognized as a nationally acclaimed staffing industry leader and a highly sought-after national speaker and trainer.
Thomas is Vice President of SRG Franchise Operations at Specialized Recruiting Group an Express Employment Professionals company where he assists franchisees with growing their businesses. He is a master at locating talent and providing training, tools, techniques, coaching, and onsite support across the vast network of Express franchise locations in the United States, Canada, and South Africa.
In addition to his many skills, Thomas has an extensive and high-performance background as an Owner/Producer at The Thomas Consulting Group, Creative Management Consultants, UNI Accounting Services, and several professional staffing companies.
A Kansas City, MO native, Thomas has served on the board of directors for a variety of organizations such as the Kansas City Workforce Investment Board, Platte County Economic Development Council, and the American Staffing Association (ASA). He served as a past president of the Missouri Kansas Search and Staffing Association and has earned Temporary Specialist and Certified Staffing Professional designations. Thomas received an ASA Legislative Merit Award and is a Kansas City 40 Under Forty winner.
Thomas has presented to audiences in 40 states and has spoken internationally to groups as large as 5,000. His speaking engagements include presentations for American Staffing Association, National Association of Professional Staffing, Society for Human Resource Management, State and local Chambers, large and small organizations, and not-for-profit organizations! Thomas has written a number of articles for industry journals, online training programs, and has published a guide titled How to Interview Successfully.
